I should see concretely what you want to do. I work quite often with AMC (Artificial Magnetic Conductor), and I create structures that simulate that behavior.

In your generic case, I think you could use the boundary conditions and put the wall you want with Magnetic Wall.

Alternatively, you can change the background material properties to "normal" with infinite (very large) Mu ~ 1E30
