hello, friends, anyone can explain to me if the insect mortality reached 100% in treated treatment, and we found 10% mortality in control .how we can justify corrected mortality? what about mortality in control treatment? because according to Abbott, W. S, 1925, formula: 1-nt/nc X100 where, n= insect population, t= treatment, c= control. when we use the Abbot formula the answer is 100% mortality. I am confused how to justify 10% insect mortality which found in control, is this formula correct? Let suppose I have test 20 insect with insecticide and got 100% mortality after few days. But in control treatment I found 18 insects, 2 were dead.  10% mortality was observed. how to define corrected mortality?
