hi...

i want to know how to create a stop band at a particular frequency, i.e. the S11 performance of my designed bowtie antenna remain below -10 dB from 0.4GHz to more than 10 GHz. but i need the s11 performance should lie below -10dB only from 0.4GHz to 4.5 GHz and after 4.5GHz the s11 curve should go above -10dB reference level. can any body suggest me how to achieve this and what are the design modification required for it?  i have designed the bowtie antenna on a low cost FR4 substrate having dielectric constant of 4.4 and thickness 1.6mm. the substrate is one sided copper (thickness of 0.035mm) coated, i.e, my designed antenna does not contain any ground plane. kindly any one suggest me how to overcome this problem? if possible attach some reference materials.
