You actually can export dxf that contain the information of each plane. They say:

"Export 2D cross sections of the structure and the active xy- or the uv-plane as a DXF file. Multiple layers parallel to the plane can be requested for export by picking points in the according heights."

I usually just pick a point on a layer I need and align my local coordinate system with the point then export the dxf.

This operation is repeated for all the layers.

I have the same issue. I have a design of a rf circuit in dxf file.

When improting to a pcb sofware like eagle I get only the outline.

I think dxf exports just the boundary lines of selected plane, because when importing to PCB software I got the lines only; so I used AutoCad(R)  to hatch the outline and then import the structure to PCB's.

1. I used Solidworks for drawing the sketches eah layer separately. export dxf

2. convert dxf to polygons in ViewMate and export gerber files
