Need to create 3d surface plot. Data I have X, Y ,Z coordinate of the pipe surface and the corresponding Q (heat flux) values at that point. Nearly 222440 data points of a 2m length pipe.

Use SURFER software with different interpolation method for the Z values.

For creating a surface, you need only three variables. Here you have four variables including x, y, z, and q. You must consider the value for one of x, y, and z constant. I suggest Origin software to draw surfaces containing three parameters x, y, and q in different values of z.

Since you are try to plot the heat around the tube surface, you still need the Z dimension. Otherwise you will plot a plain surface for your results.
So that, I think its prefer to use matlap with plot point command for each point, but control the point color based on your Q data range.
In this case you will get the actual tube geometry colored with Q colors.
