I need to create a 5 Level 3 factor design using RSM.
I referred journals and found that certain researchers has employed 3 Factor 5 level design using RSM Central Composite Design.
How can this design be developed in Design expert or Minitab?
To be simple how to increase the number of levels?

If im not mistaken in RSM software (minitab/ DE) we can decide the number of center point which represent the number of level that we want to use. For CCD, there are axial and cube point. So, if you decide to use 5 level for your design, just enter 4 point for your axial point and 4 point for your cube point (default).

Norfahana Abd Talib , you are wrong. A 5 level CCD means that u have 2 axial or star point, a minimum and maximum point and final a centre point. When entering the levels depending on the software you are using, take for instance DE, u are only required to enter the minimum and the maximum level or point, the software will calculate the centre point which is the average of the minimum and maximum level. The axial point also is calculated by the software which is an alpha distance from the centre point. In the overall design, the number of centre points you will have in the experimental runs depends on the individual performing the experiment. It ranges from 2-6. It is usually used to minimize error. The number of experimental runs in a CCD design is determined using this formula 2^k + 2k + nc.
