I have had rather bad results with the third section of a paper I am pre-publishing here. I have not been successful in removing the old versions, so I may be doing something wrong. I came upon an. offer to remove one of the bad files on a more permanent basis (removed some kind of a backup file I didn't know you were keeping). I did that, but still didn't get the result that I wanted. Finally I changed the file name slightly and got it onto Research Gate.
Then another gremlin hit. I had a fairly long list of passages to keep track of, and used circled lower-case Arabic numerals. Some of these were o.k., but others blanked out anything from a few words to a few lines of type. I will just have to remove these rarely used Unix characters, but I would like to get rid of the old ones.
Do you have a user manual somewhere?
