As you all know, this pandemic has taken a major toll on the entire global community. In some societies, people do abide by COVID protective measures. Yet, in other societies people are resistant (or do not want to abide).What sort of messaging and media material or campaigns would convince the public to abide by the measures? Let's please discuss this!
Ideas I have:
- Campaign that shows the scary side of advanced COVID cases
- Strict law enforcement, and making public displays of arresting those who do not abide by measures

Hello Melissa, this topic is very important , but it cannot be applied because of the different cultures of the society ,especially health awareness .Therefore ,cooperation must be between the law and the media.
Discuss the importance of wearing the mask or what will happen if you don't wear it. Show them some demonstration through video or some movie.
or just give a treat, like they will not get certain benefits if they don't wear masks.
While I was doing shopping in a store and the billing counter person was not wearing a a mask, I said " I will not come to your store if I see any person without mask".
Melissa Lux I saw many health care providers roaming without a mask outside hospital. How can you convince a regular person? Both of your proposition is good. Combination of them can do the trick.
This is something very danger, to convince someone who do not believe in the matter. Its not only up to his health but he put in danger his rest of community in danger too. We need his/her counselling, letting him understand how beautiful life is of him/her and his/her beloved ones.

The use of masks is necessary to reduce the spread of the virus, however, in governments like the Chinese it is easier to enforce this imposition. However, as well as there are very creative advertising campaigns to sell products. You could do something like that about it. What in marketing is called aggressive advertising.
The Bangladesh government has already enacted a law on wearing masks. But there is a part that is not yet wearing the mask. It is ineffective to talk about safety measures if people do not consider the importance of safety.
Hi! I think it required joint efforts from Governmental, societal and individual level to ensure everyone abide by the rules of wearing masks in the current pandemic situation. The role of social media, print/advertising media is definitely crucial to uphold this awareness of wearing masks among the people. Organisations, public transportation stations can make the free masks available in their information counter for public. It is possible to set up mask vending machine in public places. Then it would be possible to increase awareness of the necessity of wearing masks as well as enforcing the laws those who are reluctant to wear masks. Thanks
There are several platforms through which we can convince people. I think social media is one of the medium and it is our moral responsibility to make people aware about this pandemic. Also, at an individual level, local NGO'S and advertisements can help in this issue.
