Hello All,
I am importing meshed assembly into Abaqus CAE from other finite element packages. It is importing the meshed assembly as a orphan mesh in Abaqus interfere. In order to apply loads and boundary conditions and other solver deck preparation tasks, it need to be converted to Abaqus identified mesh.
Can anyone provide some insights on how to convert orphan mesh into standard Abaqus mesh identifying Abaqus parts.?
You can use Hypermesh software by installing Altair Hyperworks software packages on your computer. When you have Hypermesh software, you can import the orphan mesh you created by other CAE Software and using Hypermesh to export them into .inp file, which can be read by Abaqus CAE.
Hypermesh supports considerable CAE mesh file, like ANSYS, Abaqus and MSC Nastran.
