I have taken the UV visible spectrum of Graphene quantum dots, two peaks appear one at 237 and other at almost 310 nm?

An another peak like a shoulder appear at almost 460 nm, i dont know the reason why this appear and it correponds to which type of transition or group??? any one answer this question

thank your for your response...but i think this is for conversion from anhydrous to monohydrous..plz clearify...secondly, is just heating the solid monohydrous at 100 degree would be enough for this conversion?

I think the heating to 100C was used to rid of hydrate impurity in nominally anhydrous citric acid. Because citric acid is hygroscopic.
