If you manage to covert the CMP to a txt file or excel file first, then you can open those with Matlab. You can actually import them to the Matlab workspace and then save it as MAT file. I tried to open your CMP file with windows notepad; it opened but its content is not just numeric it is full of weird symbols too.

thanks alot for your attention . exactly that what I did previously but in vain . This signal could only be opened with (schiller MT200 software) and no way to save at as a text with this s.w.

do you have any idea about .xml ecg data ?? is it compatible with matlab ?

Your data file seems binary file. You can write a Matlab script for reading and converitng binary files only if you have obtained details of their format and structure which is confidential in most case. I recommend you to try xml file in the way of former comment.
