Hi everyone,
I have a historical precipitation dataset that I obtained from an observation station. Yet, this dataset is in CSV format and I need my file to be in NetCDF/NC format so that I can input it into software such as SD-GCM and RCMES.
I tried to use the "Make Table to NETCDF" option in ArcGIS but it couldn't work.
So, long story short, I have an NC file that contains just a point because I produced it using fldmean command so it includes the "mean" value of a couple of coordinates for a certain time period. On the other side, I got a CSV file including just one observation station's precipitation dataset.
How can I convert this CSV file of mine into a NetCDF file?

Table to NetCDF should work. In ArcGIS Desktop 10.8 and ArcGIS Pro 2.7 the tool is the essentially the same:

The variables could be precip (or temp, pressure, humidity, etc.) and the dimensions could be x, y, z, or t. Dimensions could also be something like a station number. See more:

On the CDO platform, the below code lines work out perfectly as well. I'm sharing also that so that other people can use them (the code is for a single point observation dataset)
cdo -f nc input,r1x1 tmp.nc < Aydin_cnrm_Prec_rcp45.txt
cdo -r -chname,var1,prec -settaxis,1980-01-01,00:00:00,1mon tmp.nc prec.nc
