Different units are used to represent the concentration of hydrogen in the research papers such as ppm, wppm, mole/m3, atom/atom. Also I am unable to understand the difference between wppm and ppm. Are these two same units?

When we are dealing with weight then we write it ppmw, when we are dealing with volume we write it as volume. I assume its same, just we need to understand in which context we are measuring.
