I am trying to evaluate the improving of the environmental awareness level after the implementation of an educational proyect. The sample is 27 pupils that completed an open-ended questionaire before and after the proyect. All the answers were processed and categorizased in 13 different categories obtaining 71 answers in the pretest and 101 answers in the postest. Now I need to compare if there is any statistical diference between the frequencies of every single category before and after the proyect implementation.
The population before and after is the same (n=27) howerver the number of answers aren´t (71 vs 101)

The data are not normally distributed so I believe that it is required to use non parametric methods. Apart of that I have Absolute and relative frequencies instead mean values.
you can use paired sample T test to compare whether there is significant mean difference between before the program implementation and after the program implementation at some confidence interval either 0.05, 0.01 or 0.001 then you can evaluate the program base on that. Meaning if the mean difference before implementation the program and after implementing the program the you can conclude that the the implement ion was fruitful and and targeted but if the mean is insignificant difference it was not targeted and successful.
