My data like this: I asked two groups (Mother , n = 80 vs. Grandmother n = 70 ) whether "academic achiemvemet" is their most important goal for their children" at three time points (A/B/C). In time A, 62 Mothers and 56 Grandmothers think so, in time B 48 Mothers and 51 Grandmothers think so, and in time C, 18 Mothers and 44 Grandmothers think so. I wonder how to compare whether the changing trend of "regarding academic achievement is the most important goal" is different between Mothers and Grandmothers across three time points? I don't know whether chi-square can work on this case.
