How to classify soils in to different hydrological Soil Groups(HSG) as I have two soil groups from Andhra Pradesh India. The watershed is 86 km2 and topography is nearly flat ranging from 520-620 m above msl.
1. Fine, montmorillontic, (calcareous), Vertic Ustrop (black Soil). This soil group exists in low lying flat downstream areas.
2.Clayey-skeletal, mixed, Typic Ustropepts (red soil). this soil group covers undulating terrain.

You might want to study the methodologies proposed by other researchers and institutions (search on Google Scholar; Scopus; ISI Web of Science etc.) and then suitably adapt them to the catchment soils, rainfall dynamics, hydrological processes and runoff modelling technique and resolution relevant to your application.
For example, one approach has been advanced by the UK Centre for Ecology & Hydrology (CEH), in Wallingford, Oxfordshire (formerly the Institute of Hydrology). This was a method to estimate spatial variations in the hydrological behaviour of catchment soils and topography, as part of their wider efforts to develop a way of estimating QMED (the 2-year flood event) at ungauged locations on all UK rivers. They called this the ‘Flood Estimation Handbook’ approach and the software and the associated 5-volume publication was first published by the Institute of Hydrology in 1999 (ISBN 0 948540 94 X), but has been updated since.
The Flood Estimation Handbook approach includes the hydrological soil behaviour variables SPRHOST, which is the standard percentage runoff for each soil type, estimated at a 1km grid resolution, and also BFIHOST, which is designed to index baseflow contributions for different soils.
As part of a study of spatial variations in river flood power, our Hydro group worked to combine the CEH Flood Estimation Handbook approach with Digital Elevation Model based-values for stream slope, to calculate downstream changes in flood risk at c.60m intervals along whole river mainstems. We enjoyed collaborating in this research with David G. Morris, Helen N. Davies and Elizabeth J. Stewart of the CEH Flood Estimation Handbook team at the Centre for Ecology & Hydrology. Our first results were published in a 2009 paper in Earth Surface Processes and Landforms (DOI: 10.1002/esp.1723). I’ll attach a copy of this paper so you have some of the references to hand.

Here's that paper on stream power based on combining DEM-based slope values with the CEH Flood Estimation Handbook approach I mentioned above for estimating the 2-year flood at 50-70m intervals down complete river systems.

there is no universal rule. It depends on which type of model you use. Some rainfall-runodd models, simply do not have any way to relate soil properties to runoff production. In unit hydrograph type of models, you should probably use a SCN type of model to get the effective precipitation, and SCN somewhat reflect soil type and soil use. (I personally do not like it, and not sure that it can be used apriori of any calibration everywhere as SCN tables suggest). If you use some sort or simplification of Richards equation (e.g. http://abouthydrology.blogspot.it/2013/06/ezio-todini-70th-symposium-my-talk.html) to treat infiltration, then you could determine equations parameters from pedotransfer functions (e.g.http://www.slideshare.net/SlidesAboutHydrology/10-water-in-soilrev-1 ).
