Hi everyone,
For my thesis I conducted eight interviews with hotels and added the transcriptions to my appendices. When referring to the data in my findings & analysis section, I used this format for in-text citations (APA): Hotel 1 (personal communication, 01 August, 2021). I understand that when I cite the same hotel in the same paragraph, I'm allowed to only write "Hotel 1". However, since my findings section is divided into A LOT of paragraphs, it's full of "Hotel 6 (personal communication, 2021)" etc.
Is it possible to just write "Hotel 1", "Hotel 2" etc. after I have introduced every source in full once? Or if that's not the case to a least cut the year (Hotel 1 (personal communication))? I feel like the readability suffers a lot if I keep using the full format everytime a new paragraph starts.
Best,
Felix
