I run PEST model successful using Demo Files in Visual MODFLOW.
Now I'm trying to calibrate a steady state Modflow model using PEST in Visual MODFLOW 4.1 for my case study but unfortunately the Model Run just for three second and i received a message
in the PEST run log that "The PEST run was not successful" for more detailed information, please open
C:\Users\admin\Desktop\NewProject\NewProject.data\MODFLOW\NumericalGrid\Run1\MODFLOW-2005pest_run.rec.
After navigating to the directed files i could not figure out what is wrong exactly. Any help please?
Pest comes with the tools PESTCHEK.EXE and INSCHEK.EXE, which can be found in the PEST distribution files. Those tools can provide helpful information about possible problems with your files try running them with your model.
If you still have errors, there is one more checking tool called TEMPCHEK.EXE which checks PEST template files (*.TPL) for errors. Good luck.
