I have the plots for Load vs Extension as well as Stress vs Strain for different kinds of plastic sheets. I used the standard ASTM D638 for preparation of specimen and conducting the experiment as well.
However the plots have no elastic zone which is but obvious since the material is plastic. Now I am in a dilemma on how to move ahead for finding out the young's modulus of those specimen.
Please help me out.
I would perhaps go to a local university teaching engineering as they may likely have the apparatus used to obtain the stress strain curve as it is a common experiment for learning purposes. If not you're going to have to somehow accurately measure the change in length at certain loads and plot the curve manually I guess.
Every material is elastic plastic in nature. Plastic material has very less elastic part and with small load/strain they undergo plastic or nonlinear part. Try calculating strain at around 0.5 % strain.

Take the stress vs strain graph. In that where yiu have a almost straight line in that take two points and draw a triangle. From the slope of triangle you can find the young modulus
Youngs modulus = stress/strain
