I am looking for publications - papers and books on the carbon footprint of materials (especially building materials), including those that discuss the procedure for determining the carbon footprint value by using examples. Can you recommend something or share your own publication on this topic?

Embodied Energy (EE) represents the nonrenewable energy consumed in the acquisition of raw materials, their processing, manufacturing, transportation to site, and construction throughout the whole life cycle.
Even the consumption of energy in the life cycle of the materials used will lead to additional carbon footprint in comparison to materials which requires less energy in their life cycle. This may be due to heating and cooling required in buildings as per their geographical locations and associates losses due to type of materials used..
Om Prakash Chhangani, yes, I agree. However, I am looking for particular cases and examples to analyse. Like for instance cements from various cements plants may have different EE, because of the transportation raw materials from various more/less distant deposits, etc.
