Basically you need to know the sum formula of your product and then calculate the yield based on the limiting reagent. Quite often the limiting readent is the metal salt which was used in the preparation of the MOF, e.g. Zn(NO3)2x6H2O. Moreover, you have to make sure that the material does not contain a large amount of water molecules included. Thus you perhaps need to dry the MOF until a constant weight and composition is reached.
