Hello community,

I struggle with the following problem:

I have a container 600*800*1800mm dimensions with 65-80mm wall thickness. to check the worst case scenario, I want to calculate with 65mm.

the inside of the container is 80% filled with different goods and for ease of calculation, I replace this with 250l of frozen water at -18°C.

outside temperature is +25°C, the wall material has a lambda of 0.037W/mK.

I just want to get a rough indication of either how long it would take for the inside of the container/the ice block to warm up to -14°C or how warm the ice block would be after 16h.

I can calculate, that after ~126h the ice is melted and at 25°C, but I struggle with beforementioned problem of a specific temperature goal.

Any help? Thanks in advance
