I have found some papers where they say that Raman G peak positions can be used to determine the thermal expansion coefficient of Graphene. The process they suggest is as follows:

X= w-w0

x= thermal expansion coefficient at room temperature.

w= peak position at room temperature

w0= peak position at 0 k

but the calculated values they mention are in cm-1K-1 units. while from the above stated formula involves only frequencies, where does ther k-1 unit come from?
