I have been looking for ways to calculate the rhythmicity of scalp EEG signals in order to analyze seizure events. I can understand that spectrum analysis can be a candidate of such measure, but not sure exactly how much reliable it will be for EEG signals corrupted with different types of artifacts. Therefore I am looking for some statistical measures that can actually characterize such rhythmic patterns. Looking for any kind of suggestion or link. Thanks a lot :)
