I am working on conversion of carbon-dioxide to formic acid. Please explain the standard procedure to calculate the yield as sodium or potassium formate with standard HPLC calibration curve and pressure consumed

Typically this is not done with HPLC! 'Fate and pathway' studies are performed with an isotope like C13 or C14 and scintillation counters.
