Is there any one who can help me on how to calculate the dimensions of my antenna in terms of wavelength? for example i have 60mm*60mm*1.6mm dimensions how can i calculate them in terms of wavelength at a solution frequeny of 2.45GHz?
Mr Abdelhalim what of if the antenna is an UWB antenna how can someone calculate the dimension in terms of wavelength at median frequency for example Using CST because in CST you only assign frequency like from 1 to 12GHz orfrom 2 to 1GHz?
Sorry for late answer on your new question. In case of narrow band band antenna you can consider that the antenna is a narrow band pass filter with center frequency such type antennas are resonant antennas. Ultra wide band antenna as very wide band pass filter can can be assigned center frequency as geometrical mean between its upper and lower cut off frequency. It can not be built from single resonance antenna as the narrow bandwidth antennas. There is special constructions for the ultra wide band width antennas whose dimensions are related to the lower cutoff frequency and the upper cutoff frequency rather than the intermediate frequency as i defined it in the beginning of my post. For detailed information about an UWB vivaldi antenna please refer to the link:Article Enhancing Tumor Detection in IR-UWB Breast Cancer System
