If I have a 2x2 channel matrix with all channel coefficients being complex. I am using this model for a dual-polarized antenna.
In order to use this model, the XPD should be calculated which is defined as
XPD= average received power (Hvv)/ average received power (Hvh), where Hvv is the copular coefficient while Hvh is the cross polar. I cant understand how will I incorporate this when simulating the model in matlab? How will I ensure this for the channel coefficients if I need an XPD of 0.1.

The question is about how do I involve the channel matrix while I design my system. It has less to do towards the hardware aspects. I am confused how does the XPD ensured when I consider my channel coefficients. In most of the works, the cross polar components are assumed to be very less. How do I ensure while I simulate that the ratio of copular to cross polar becomes a specific value?
