I wonder how to calculate static dielectric constant, epsilon(0) from first-princiles. I think that this guy is related to the phonon properties such as phonon DOS. Some DFPT solvers support its estimation, but the solvers do not generally have versatility on the choice of pseudopotentials. Therefore, I prefer using phonon calculator based on small displacement methods (phonopy or PHON). If one knows high-frequency dielectric constant, epsilon_infty, LST relationship can deduce the epsilon(0) because the energies of LO and TO phonons seem to be

reasonably calculated. It would be of help if you could tell how to deduce epsilon(0) from what the major phonon calculaters can calculate (such as dynamical matrix element, displacements, or force constant..)
