Use means value of the control simply

I would recommend measuring root and/or shoot lengths, and calculate % reduction comparing to a control/untreated check. I would calculate mean % reductions for each replication.

Thank you all. As per Maria Leticia de M. Zaccaro suggestion I ll use the mean for calculation for each set of triplicate of control and treated.

% of Phytotoxicity = Mean of Shoot or root length of control- Shoot or root length of each treatment

for calculation phytotoxicity , you need to control and test by 3 or more replications... compare the test value with control value bu using statistical analysis ..
