I need to calculate phonon energy of different tellurite glass matrices. There are some ways through FTIR and Raman analysis that I know but they do not seem solid to apply and publish.
By FTIR and Raman you don't calculate Phonon energies, you measure phonon dispersion in a small part of the Brillouin zone (although discussing Brillouin zones is probably obsolete for glasses).
Could you please post what methods you find problematic so we can adress this? In its current shape your question is way too general for a helpful answer.
There is a well-established method (since the 60ies of the last century) for IR-spectroscopy. Take a (specular) reflectance spectrum and analyze it by dispersion analysis. By doing so, you obtain for every band oscillator strength, damping and oscillator position (=phonon energy).
