How to calculate L2-norm for function of three variables including two space and one time variable?

The calculation of L2-norm for a function with one space variable and time variable can be done by some previous studies. Can this methodology be extended to find L2-nom in two space variable and one time variable? If not, How can I calculate the respective norm for the function of three variable?
