The solar still equipped with energy storage can work after sunshine hours due to the effect of energy stored in the system.

I want to calculate the instantaneous energy and exergy efficiency after sunshine hours but I am unable to do that as solar radiation is zero after around 6 pm.

I am confused, how to calculate the efficiency of solar still during night hours., As radiation is zero, the efficiency turning undefined because of ZERO in the denominator in the formula.

I have gone through several books and articles, but I am unable to find the exact solution for my query. But there are some articles, calculated and plotted the hourly energy/exergy efficiency after sunshine hours.

It would be of immense help to me if I get a solution... Also, it is very helpful for me in understanding the other related topics towards my research.
