If you're using Plane waves excitation, you can compute the incident power by calculating the poynting vector as 1/2*|E|^2/Z0, in which Z0 is the free space impedance, and E is electric field intensity that you have defined. Then you can estimate the incident power by multiplying the poynting vector by your overall Metasurfaces footprint surface.

I used a lumped element (a resistor) in my antenna structure and I want to know how can I calculate the resistor power? Actually, I want to calculate the ratio of total power incident on the surface to the available resistor power.

It's easy, CST automatically develops the power dissipated by the lumped elements, for checking this juste go to the 1D results-->>Power-->>then to the

power loss in lumped elements folder.

what I would do would be to add a curve just in the unit cell you want to analyze (Modeling/Curves in the upper menu) and then you can study very well what happens in that cell illuminated with a horn (field strength, currents etc...).

Thank you so much for your opinions regarding my query. Your Suggestion works, but I want to study incident power on the entire footprint of the unit cell, not just on a curve. Another question. If I use Floquet port (instead of horn antenna) and unit cell boundary condition to simulate an infinite array of aforementioned unit cells, How can I calculate the incident power on the entire footprint of the unit cell for the combination of all excited Floquet modes?
