Suppose a fluid is flowing between two parallel plates (and exchanging heat) for 100-time steps. So, there is an area-weighted Average temperature at every 10 steps. How can I write a UDF to calculate the area-weighted average of these 10 temperatures and display this on the console in Ansys?

The required experimental set up for such measurement requires the use of several plates varying in area; The fluid to be employed must have a known heat capacity; A control on the flow rate is essential. The metal of the plates must be known and its heat capacity; the starting temperature is essential. The experiment may be carried out to measure the temperature for the plates. The thermal isolation is essential. After trying such variables there will be a lot of data from which an equation may be derived employing one of the available experimental design models. Good luck.
