Dear all,
As in the title, I would like to know the actual amplitude in mV of a frequency band in a power spectrum with y units in mV2 (squared), coming from the FFT analysis of a LFP in gapfree mode.
One possibility would be to isolate the frequency of interest with appropriate filtering of the raw signal and then going to measure the actual amplitude on the filtered trace.
However, as a different approach, I was wondering if would be appropriate to convert the mV2 (that are rms values) in mV (peak-to-peak) by just multiplying mV2 for 2,828.
What do you think?
Thanks in advance.
