If we have 25g/L liquid form of Spinosad and we want to prepare 10mg/L dilution then how much proportion of water and insecticide solution do we need to mix for preparation of required dilution? What is the formula to prepare dilution from any insecticide available in any form?

M1 denotes the concentration of original solution, V2 is volume of original solution, M2 is concentration of diluted solution and V2 denotes the final volume of the diluted solution.

For spinosad dilution, you should make means and extremes as follow,
you have 25 gm at liter (1000 ml) and you want to obtain the dilution 10 mg, so you need to add 400 ml of water .
For a solution of 10mg/L of Spinosad , you will need:
- 400mL of 25g/L of Spinosad for q.s. 1L of water.
To this calculation you divide the stock solution by use solution, e.g. 25g/L divide by 0.01g/L = 2500.
And, divide the volume of solution wanted by this value, e.g. 1000mL of water / 2.500 = 0.4 mL.
The value 0.4mL is the quantity of Spinosad solution (25g/L) you need get, and add q.s 1000 mL of water to obtain 10mg/L of Spinosad.
