I need to send a collaborator mounted cryosections of spinal cord tissue. The slides are stored at -80C here in the lab. What is the best way to ship? I've sent on dry ice, and that seems to work OK, but several times now, the recipients have told me that the sections easily fall off the slides with washes. That never happens in house.

What about shipping in 100% ethanol? If ISH (RNAscope) is the goal, that seems like it might be appropriate. What do you think?
