I am trying to analyse data for a headache diary in SPSS.
The data stem all from one person and each entry contains date, time and other variables like pain intensity. I am really unsure how to best analyse this data. Does anyone have any suggestions? It would be greatly appreciated!
1) I thought about averaging the data (e.g.pain intensity) for each day to reduce the data and so I don't have to deal with individual times. But im not sure how to do this in an automated matter.
2) After 1) I would use time series to analyse the data further.
The question is quite interesting..but wait a little bit. How did you capture a data on pain intensity? mention the various intensity modes.... that when we can know the maybe,averaging can be possible or not. Averaging could be possible if its in numeric pattern
