Many young researchers look forward to receiving invitations for conducting peer review. How can they attract the attention of editors looking for reviewers?
I receive a lot of e-mails requesting me to be a reviewer in general but I also receive a lot of specific articles from journals requesting me to referee them. I think this happens because I have published a number of articles. The editors probable consult some databases and finds authors. If you publish a number of articles, requests will start coming your way. I suppose you wouldn't want to start refereeing before you have shown that you can write articles. So my advice is, the requests will come your way once you have sexperience of writing.
