I'm using ZrOCl2.8H2O as precursor and 2-methoxyethanol as solvent and I have solutions with different-different morality, however with each of them I'm getting striations in the film. How can I avoid them? and How can get the lowest leakage current with the precursor?

Did you make a film via the spin-coating technique? I would suggest to dilute your solutions with low concentrations to make a desirable thickness of a film using a spray-coating method. It is a quite simple way to do manually spray coating using a handheld spray pen or gun. You could buy one from a art shop. Something is like the following link. It works very well.

Dear Sandeep,
You may need to check several parameters such as adding some high boiling point solvents into your solution, spinning speed(recommended >1500rpm), duration (60s), the surface treatment of your substrates, the chuck on your spin-coater and so on. You may find a solution to have homogeneous films by changing one of mentioned parameters. Hope it helps.
