Perhaps changing the mechanical and physical properties of an element?

Firstly, you should check element library to find out the properties of the elements (whether it requires real constants, required key options and so on).

Then, in mechanical part, right click the body you want to use specific element, and select command.

et,matid,ELEMENTNAMEFROMHELP (this allows you to use the specified element for the body)

r,matid,xxxx (if any real constants are required)

keyopt,matid,KEYOPTNUMBER,KEYOPTPROPERTY (this allows you to select keyoptions)
