How to apply the Orthogonal Matching Pursuit(OMP)Algorithm on images?

Hello to all,

I am research scholar and pursuing Ph.D in the field of Compressive Sensing. I want to know , how to apply the OMP algo. for reconstructing the compressed image.

Since i have done the following in MATLAB:

1. First I take the Original image of dimension NXN.

2. Now, i convert this original image into sparse domain with the help of DWT.

3. Since there r different types of wavelet functions(e.g.W-haar/db2/bior2.2), so i conclude which one give the more sparsity for my test images(Leena,Jelly Bean,Pepper,Baboon).

4. Conclusion is bior2.2 is best for maximum sparsity and also the good visual quality.

Now, next my query is HOW I apply OMP algo. for reconstructing the image?

since i have already compressed the image , so next step is to reconstruct the image with the help of Compressive Sensing.

Please correct me.... if i am wrong...

Otherwise , please help me regarding this...... what should i have to do next..?

Firstly, measurement matrix is used for signal compression, and then OMP is used for data reconstruction. What you need to reconstruct is the signal in the wavelet domain.

Actually, I want to reconstruct d original image by using OMP Method..

For the Measurement matrix I have to take two parameters m and n ; n is the length of original image and m is the length of compressed image in wavelet domain....

Please correct me.. my process is going on correct path or not?
