Usually to conduct a Systematic Review and Meta-analysis (SRMA), researchers do not need funds to buy lab materials. However, researchers have been receiving funds to conduct SRMAs. I would like to ask the experts who have successfully achieved research funds for conducting SRMAs that what are the issues/points I should keep in mind during applying a research fund for conducting an SRMA.
Usually information is available on institution website ...after filling all querries in online form ...u may be asked by university or committee interview, if u cleared commitee interviews ..u may get grant for research work
What came to my mind was the use of data management tools such as Covidence that have a cost associated or publication costs (e.g. open-access etc) for the final SRMA? Could also factor in salary costs/time for a second reviewer for the project?
A good systematic search might include abstracts ot full texts in any language. If you do not limit your inclusion criteria to English publications you might need to consider a budget for a translator/ help with data extraction and appraisal of these studies.
