i got my phd awarded recently in chemistry. i want to do post doctoral fellowship in abroad. i request you to suggest me a good country and at the same time a good institute with all details.
The job market for postdoc is very competitive. You don't have publications in top journals and have no ideas how to apply. I think, that you have low chances to be accepted by a leading group in your area. Read internet and learn how to apply
There is no "good country or good institute". The place where you carry out post-doctoral work is not the most important point. E.g. there is excellence in specific branches of chemistry in Joensuu (Finland), Durham (UK), Freiberg (Germany), Santiago de Compostella (Spain), Bari (Italy) just to name some of them. You probably have never heard these towns - believe me, there are excellent colleagues there.
Far more important is: you need a grant. Then you are welcome everywhere.
Grants are available from funding agencies such as DAAD (Germany), Humboldt foundation (Germany), Fulbright, ACS (US), RSC (UK) ... - basically any developed/developing country has a national science foundation and provides grants.
Important for a sucessful application is a perfect match of your education, your interests, the expertise of the host and the proposed research.
No apologies. These "good country", "best university" things are really a problem, when students are looking for PhD or post-doc posititions. In India it is easy to find the best places, they are the IITs, NISER, etc. ... But I am sure that there are excellent colleagues also at less famous places and universities.
In Europe there is no easy way to find the good places - because they usually do not have famous names. You have to carefully check the "scienctific landscape". Excellent science is done in many places.
And be careful with famous places. E.g. I cannot recommend Oxford (no good chemistry) better go to Bath or Durham. Don't go to ETH Zurich for social sciences, they are very mediocre. Avoid Munich, it is extremely expensive ...
