If I want to find kf
The unit of kf = L/g
from equation KF =qm / (C0)1/n
qm = mg/g, Co =mg/l
*then if I want to apply my kf(adsorption capacity) with wastewater
where as my kf = 5 L/g
wastewater has 10 mg/l of lead, volume 100 ml of solution. Then my Question is, how many adsorbent should I use. I must use L/g. do I need to think about concentration? Should I use 0.02 g of adsorbent?
The equation is for equilibrium concentration, not for concentration at time 0.
Is 10 mg/l your initial concentration?
For equilibrium concentration, you should put your target concentration i.e. you should know how much lead should be removed.
Do you want to find the dose of adsorbent to remove lead to zero concentration? In any case, the Freundlich equation includes n that represents heterogenity of surface. Therefore, if the you have presented all data, then it's impossible to calculate.
There are ambiguous points in your question. First of all, if you know the value of "Kf," then you should also know "n" for that adsorbent. And you must clearly indicate whether the lead conc. you mentioned is initial or equilibrium conc. You should state both initial and equilibrium lead conc.s of the solution in order to be able to calculate required adsorbent amount.
Hay que entender que cada adsorbente requiere de ensayos de adsorción, a partir de los cuales se aplican los modelos y se obtienen las constantes y cantidad adecuada de adsorbato para una concentración de adsorbato determinada.
