HI I am really confused about when to use “& and “and“ durring citations in text. following an APA format
for example when should I use “Braun and Clarke 2006)? and when should I use (Braun & Clarke, 2006).
Also when citing more than one study in brackets so ( bla bla et al., and so and so et al.,) how should more thman 2 studies in A bracket be cited?
any help is appreciated in advance
In continuous text = and
E.g.: As Roger, Taylor and Smith (2000) highlighted...
At the end of the text (in brackets) = &
E.g.: Cited literature has to be ordered alphabetically (Roger, Taylor & Smith, 2000).
In APA format, Author 1 and Author 2 state that….. or (Author 1 & Author, year) is used for in-text citations.
