How to analyze two factors Randomize Complete Block Design (RCBD) Data with control/check plot, in Statistical packages such as SPSS, Statistics 8.1 ?
In a two factor RCBD one factor is the treatment factor and other factor constitutes the blocks. Each block is a complete replicate of the experiment because each treatment level appears once in each block. The analysis of variance has the sources of variation TREATMENT, BLOCKS, ERROR and TOTAL with degrees of freedom t-1, b-1, (t-1)(b-1) and bt-1 respectively where there t treatment levels and b blocks. The sum of squares are accordingly obtained.
