I am using Human Robot Fluency questionnaire by Guy Hoffmann in my study as a standard questionnaire and there some reverse scale questions in the questionnaire marked with R. But there is no method mentioned to analyze such items explicitly. My questions is do I just simply in that case reverse them for example like If someone answered 2 on a reverse-scored question, and the scale is 1–7 then reversed score = (7 + 1) - 2 = 6. based on computation as Reversed Score=(Maximum Score+1)−Original Score. Yes you are correct. Reverse scale computation is Reversed Score=(Maximum Score+1)−Original Score. However, I R there is no extra code/package available. Just code is to be implemented.
Unless you are using a statistics/survey program that automatically reverse codes the responses, they need to be reverse coded for ALL items (questions) with the R annotation, otherwise your data and results will be inaccurate. Here is a similar question and responses on ResearchGate:
