In my work I am able to see that a large amount of gas bubbles are forming and I tried to collect the gas using a syringe, Now I need to analyze what gas is being evolved? To use GC-MS I need to choose a column, but I don't know what kind of gas it could be? So instead of GC-MS, can anyone please suggest me any other method to analyze the unknown gases.
GC-MS, if i am right, it is Gas Chromotographer - Molecular Sieve. This can be used for any arbitrary gas. But to know the concentration of each gas, you could calibrate at 1 point or for better accuracy at 3 points. Usually, GC is used to know the concentration of the gases of our interest. So understand which gases are in the interest of your study.

GC-MS means Gas chromatography-Mass spectrometer, and as per the column Molecular sieve, it can detect only few inorganic gases, as per my understanding I am thinking that the gases that are liberating could be Hydrides of boron, for that from literature I found that we can use Celite-paraffin oil column, but I am little bit afraid what if the gases are something else and column gets damaged, So to avoid all this I wanna know any alternative way.
I used agilent HSS based gas chromotographer. I was performing DGA on paraffinic and naphthanic based transformer oil. The GC remained the same except the oven temperatures and the preheating time.

one would need to know the components of your system, such that an educated guess about the gas sample can be done. Sometimes you do not need sophisticated equipment, but just leading the gas through a certain soltuion to confirm or falsify the suspiction. For example, when CO2 you can lead the gas through a baryte solution. When you cet a white precipitate, and the gas has no odor it is higly possibly CO2, etc.

I think the best method for separation is GSC( I used silica gel column for separation of pyrolysis products). For detection MS is the best.
