Scopus allows downloading bibliometrics data in *.ris format for further analysis. However, I have noticed that for the documents (publications) which have no citations, the respective field (TC is not included). Non-inclusion of TC field results in "No field" situation when I use this *.ris file in Bibexcel.

The tool treats the entry against publications having zero citations( and hence no TC field) as "No field" and gives error in further processing, hence exiting the tool.

One way is to open *.doc file that bibexcel creates from *.ris file in MS Word and manually add TC-0 at the right place, where required. This may be feasible but not for document having 4489 pages.

Anyone who could guide me to deal with this situation? One can recommend another tool for example.

Thanks,
